A sunny day 2 started with a trip to the storage unit to pick up a bunch of the tools to take to the house. Our flat deck trailer was also at the storage, so I loaded it up and took everything home.
By the time I got there I was a bit late for my appointment with Tri-City Pumps who came to give us a status report on the well and water system. Brent from Tri-City was already in the pump shed checking on the water system. What looked initially like a rather complicated system, turned out to be actually a newer simple system, and an older retired pump and very old well.
The actual water system connected to the house is in good shape, which is great news. I will have to add some insulation around the components in the shed, and a heat wire on a hose will get me running water in the Trailer for the winter. In the spring, when all of the new pluming is ready, we will have the well pressure tank and controls moved into the cellar where they will be protected from freezing year round.
